Classes & Membership
CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.
As a new member, we require a three month commitment to show how CrossFit can change the way you workout and view fitness for life as a member of our community of athletes. After the three month commitment, we have a 30 day notice requirement for all cancellation requests. Those requests must be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Our desire is that once you join, you will make CrossFit Newark part of your life, for the long term. The membership rate you enroll with is your locked in rate for the duration of your commitment to CrossFit Newark. If you prefer to drop into a class and try it out, you may do so at any of our class times and the rate is $10/class or $5 on Fridays. It helps us make your experience smoother if you are able to show up about 10 minutes prior to class start to meet the assigned coach and fill out our required paperwork…one page, we promise!!
If you are a member at another CF box, feel free to drop in and depending on your length of stay we will work out a fair arrangement and/or shirt purchase.
We do offer a summer-only membership geared toward college students. Please stop in or email us for details.

Based on the results from our summer team training, we saw an overall combined improvement in their performance of 19.28% over the 24 session conditioning program. With some minor modifications, we rolled that program out to our own gym targeting young athletes, ages 10-15.
CrossFit Newark is changing our current CFN Kids and Teens program into a combined SPEED/AGILITY/MOTOR (SAM) Program for ages 10-15.
The class days will be Monday, Wednesday from 7-8pm and Saturdays 8-9am. We will allow 12 athletes per two month cycle which encompasses 24 sessions to build the young athlete’s speed, agility, and endurance/MOTOR! The first session is Monday September 5th and will run through Friday October 28th. The cost per athlete is $100 for the 24 session module. If we have more than 12 enrollments, athletes will be placed on a waiting list to see if we can add another coach and class, otherwise those already in the program will have priority as we roll from one module to the next.

The first twelve to sign up and pay will secure their spots in this exciting new program. Waiver forms and payments can be submitted at the gym. For your convenience, waivers are available for printing on our website.

Private CrossFit training is available and will range in price from $30-60/hr depending on the needs and goals of the athlete and the experience of the trainer. Please utilize the contact us tab for additional information and to request a consultation with a coach.
Athletic Team Challenge Training
We are able to provide a challenging training environment, programmed to meet the needs of your high school athletic team. The training will be based on CrossFit methodology for maximizing work capacity in teenage athletes. The program will be an experience your teams will never forget and can be customized for your needs and goals. We can train using your facility or ours.
